This work was exhibited at Number-D’s first solo exhibition, “Intersection Without Borders.”

This piece expresses the Zen concept of “Mukyo” (No Boundaries).
The technique of creating letters as wooden three-dimensional reliefs was attempted for the first time in this exhibition. By cutting out graffiti that once existed on a flat surface and extending it outward from the wall, the words are transformed into physical objects.

Number-D was deeply moved by both the visual beauty of Zen characters and the meanings behind them, which led to the creation of this work.

Mukyo (No Boundaries):
A state in which no borders or divisions exist. The very idea of separation itself disappears.
